Honestly, I can understand the emperor's reaction. He was angry that he was tricked, especially after he used so much needed money for the betrothal. His whole hopes were built on the saint's powers. I mean, his country is practically collapsing. Of course, he lashes out. Even if it's not fair to Ruby.
I really like the manga. I love Ruby, her maid and even the emperor, who slowly understand his mistakes. Too bad for him, he could have joined the barbecue in the demon forest if he would have paid only a litte attention to his wife's actions. hahaha. Ah I need more chapters soon.
