Good story so far. Three chapters in and ML had a reason to be neglectful and seems genuinely sorry for it. He actually did what a lot of ML's don't typically do and genuinely said the word "sorry," which seems oddly rare considering the nature of these stories. FML also has a pretty good reason to not like him, although she hasn't said it out loud I think she recognizes that she and the original personality are two entirely different people, and the previous personality "died" without even knowing how the ML actually felt. ML in turn kind of addresses this issue by saying he loved the more timid version of her and the current bold version of her, kind of fixing the general issue of if he loves the original body's owner or only loves the new one that a lot of stories don't address.
Overall, it's addressing a lot of the problems I typically have with these stories and it's a breath of fresh air. ML is still being a bit too pushy in his pursuit of her but cliffhanger in chapter 3 seems to imply that he's giving her some space, but preview image of 4 may show he's doing the exact opposite of my expectation. Probably gonna buy a house nearby and live next to her instead of living on her couch.
I was gonna say screw that guy, but then he said that they'd start a new life where she's settled down instead of trying to force her back to an abusive environment like 99% of stories do, so I'm willing to give him, and this story, a chance.

Is the implication that in the original story the husband just *never* found out his wife was an abused servant? Presumably his lack of expressions in the OGstory was tied to things not going well in his marriage, but it doesn't sound like they ever divorce before he falls in love with OGFL.
Oh the male lead is extremely annoying.
