So the whole "run away to start a new life as a commoner" thing from the synopsis is essentially a non-factor in the story. By chapter 2 she's agreed to marry her knight who has just been given a noble title, by the end of chapter 3 she's back home, and chapter 4 she's back in her original engagement. Just a whole lot of running in circles. It just feels like the only reason any of that running away bit happens is to show how incredibly naive and incapable FL is...but her entire motive for running away is still there and her dad basically told her to pound sand, so shouldn't she just flee again?
Ok, so its not a misunderstanding the that the fiance wants the sister (although is wishy washy), I was curious about that. Ok, FL is justified in wanting out and her dad sucks.
