She might be self-sacrificing, but the story sure makes it look like her best friend was herself a terrible friend harboring feelings for FL's fiance and only lifeline. And that couple got married *the instant* FL was out of the picture. They clearly didn't even wait to see what FL's fate would be, they just wanted to get away from her and shack up. It can't even be a case of them knowing FL wanted them together, or they could have waited a week for FL to be released and attend (you can't tell me her fiance didn't have the right to inquire about her legal situation if he cared).
Also can't say I'm a fan of the wife and daughter being sold into sexual slavery because the dad committed tax crimes.
The stories just aren't made to be oneshots, so every chapter is poorly done plotwise, but the art is mostly ok
I enjoyed number three but there's a severe logical problem... how did she even have a maid? And why wasn't that friend/maid doing anything to help her? Why didn't the maid tell the fiancee and why didn't HE do anything? The story makes no sense.

So nobody thought it would be nice to tell the poor girl about anything in 10 or so years... and she is supposed to forgive them like she was in the wrong for assuming the worst? Ah
I love anthology oneshots! 3 needed a complete rewrite/overhaul, as none of it makes sense as presented. 4 had far too many plotpoints and not enough pages, but I liked the characters. 5 had excellent pacing and composition, even if its story didn't tread any new paths. Sometimes, it's okay to tell a standard story well. 1 and 2 were apparently completely forgettable.
