Let me paint you a picture. Someone is walking through a garden and sees a rake on the ground. They recognize the danger of that rake. Someone else might even point at the rake and say "Hey, watch out for that rake!" They then intentionally step on the rake, causing the handle to swing up and smack them right in the face. They then get angry at the rake for daring to act in such a way. This scenario repeats, with this person repeatedly smacked in the face with rakes.
