got mighty annoyed with the possesive ML tropes in this one, the guy being like "dont see your friends before me" and "stay in the room so that other men dont dance with you at the ball" while he's out and about is ugh

Everyone complaining about the ML, but the FL is the bigger problem. Its like she forgets what people tell her and only focuses on the most negative worst case scenario, with no interest in the truth. 😐
I hate this something ML is weird and overly possessive and not in a way that I liked in other manga. And it's very sexual in a weird way.
The misunderstanding here is kind of blown out of proportion, it was an accident and wasn't even as bad as the FL claimed it to be to begin with, and on top of that, the ML never even mentioned that he was mad about it?? I find it kinda hard to believe that she never found out about the reality of the situation after all the time he spent meeting up with her to give her gifts and stuff, she never ONCE tried to apologise for what she thought she did? Since if she had he would've corrected her like he did in the later chapters??
Good, seems like they clear up the "tragic mistake" by chapter 6 but personally I would've preferred to know about it early on, maybe in chapter 1 or 2 because this vague "terrible thing" actually gets pretty annoying as the story goes on. If you want a spoiler, FML believes she stepped right on the ML's face when she leapt from a balcony. Which I can KIND OF understand her being embarrassed and scared of, because she thinks she did the equivalent of slapping royalty, but ML doesn't do a lot on his end to reinforce this fear. It would've been something if he said something that could've been misinterpreted like, "I'll never forget this," or "I'll find out who you are," which from his POV is just him being honest while she takes that as a threat.
Overall story is okay, don't really know what'll happen since the misunderstanding was cleared up and we're lacking any immediate antagonists. ML seems to have the wealth and resources to make any problem "disappear" if he wants so not really sure if there even will be any problems moving forward.
sigh... hate the parents for pushing that engagement then pushed her again to an engagement with the chancellor's aide without even considering her feelings

Her parents are trash. “Oh they are so loving”. No. They forced her to destroy herself for a shit fiance than ignored her wishes again for her new fiance with “hoo hoo she’s so happy”. I know the relationship is going to work out now, but they don’t know that. If they cared what’s best for her or her happiness, they wouldn’t have made her stay with the first trash and bend to his whims

This story is so ridiculous - and so dumb. I'm sure I lost plenty of my IQ-Points because of it...
the FL always talks about "that" - he must hate me because of "that", he must look for revenge because of "that", that, that, that....
Well, at this point everybody would at least think "that" is something really horrible, emberassing, humiliating, cruel,.... but she simply jumped from the balcony to get away from her abusive (ex-)finace and landed in his arms... even if she HAD kicked him (as she thought), that wouldn't be a reason for plotting something sinister for 3 years!!
That's it. That's the "that"-drama she thinks and talks about on every second page. "That" is Ridiculous.
She could have simply asked: "Hey, you say that you love me, so you mean that you are not angry because I landed in your arms?" Drama over and the Manga losses 10 chapters.
