The Fallen Noblewoman Becomes the Poor Knight’s Maid
Agnes, once celebrated among nobility as “the beautiful rose”, experiences a sweeping fall from grace when a scandal involving her family causes their downfall. Meanwhile, Bernard, a poor knight who is the fifth son of a rural lord, carries resentment from their first meeting—he saw her acting condescendingly in the social circles.Five years later, in the midst of her family’s ruin, Agnes is reduced to poverty. Many abandon her, but Bernard steps forward. He offers her a position: serve as his maid. With this arrangement, their relationship begins in misunderstanding and tension—but as they live together, care, regret, and reconciliation slowly weave a fragile romance between a fallen noblewoman and a humble knight.

It's a really good shoujo manga. In a way, the story is fairly simplistic, but it's really good at having expressing this simple story through the artwork. The characters are very expressive which makes the cute and lovely feeling of this story better. It's a good, simple story that is pulled off well. I'd recommend it 100%. Thanks for translating this
Best MIL
this episode made me tear up at the end 😭
I think she has poor eyesight, that's why she's always squinting and tthat makes her look like she's glaring.
Ah, seems she is poor of sight
Oh man i love this so much
I'm so glad I gave this one a read, one of the best stories I've read from this site
"We rescued her! That's why she's locked up in the dungeon..."
Please dont kill him off. D:
YES YES YES YES ITS HAPPENING
Man, those knights can avoid being trampled by a horse literally on top of the, and also outrun a horse while carrying a woman. Those are some impressive knights!
I think his mother or wet nurse need to educate her a bit...
It’s completely unrealistic of them to be so easy-going with the current situation.
I mean, why do they keep calling her by her real name while they are in public like that? And I know it’s a festival with a lot of people and all, but she can eat without removing her mask, so remove it and risk being seen by someone who knows her or familiar with her?
I enjoyed the first few chapters of this, but honestly I’m getting tired of how this whole thing is being handled.
One of the best shojo I read
This is good and everyone feels more or less like real people. Even side characters have personalities and their own lives. And FL isn't just 16 years old, that is a huge bonus.
Sheesh, just admit that u fall for her
