So I’m like 90% sure that I’ve read this… on this website… and paid for the chapters and now it’s being released again with the chapters being locked… again??
A lot of the stories translated here are bland and unoriginal tbf. Wayyy too many 'I was abused, wah wah, feel bad for me! Now i have hot guy.'
It'd be easy to confuse them as the same
Bro just summarised artlapsa in one sentence😂
I can't wait for hubby to get revenge for his darling wife!
"What? You mean the reason for all those clear signs of abuse was...that she was being abused!?! Unbelievable!"
Also ML, "and on top of that, he forced her into a marriage like selling her off for money!?" YOUR THE ONE WHO BOUGHT HER! You can't arrange to buy a wife and then get upset that she was sold to you.
Hahaha, so true.
Why is it that people see someone who is clearly starved, covered in wounds, and clearly hasn't bathed in some time, and there thought isn't "Oh, she's clearly been abused" but instead "How rude and arrogant!"?
Also, why did ML choose someone with an awful reputation for not behaving like a noble to be his fake-wife who he wants to act like a respectable noble to keep up appearances?
Has no one bothered to fill Claude in that she’s the reason Grandma’s walking again?
It really shouldn't have escalated to that point. As soon as FL called for help and ML showed up, he should have had the person he knew was her abuser dragged away. Why declare you'd give impartial judgment between your wife and her assailant?
So the mom had a highly marketable skill, but instead chose to work as a maid. Then even after she had a daughter (and given the dynamics involved, the mother probably didn't sleep with the father willingly), she continued to stay while she and her daughter were abused. Why not run away? It doesn't really feel like the noble family would have wanted to drag them back.
Also the Duke and his servants come across as the worst detectives in the world. "Hmmm, why is this noble girl covered in injuries, always dirty, starved, and doesn't seem familiar with standard noble things. Could this mean something deeper? Maybe she's just weird, nothing else comes to mind that could explain it all."
Oh dear sounds like the old man has some history with the house
