She can eat without nausea, run without getting out of breath, and move freely. Overjoyed, she embraces her new life, determined to break free from the tragic fate that awaits her. Armed with overwhelming positivity and the life skills from her past, she sets out to carve her own happiness.

I actually completely disagree with you. Mostly because of the nature of the story she's been transmigrated into, she's completely safe. Even if they think she's lost her mind, what are they going to do? Put her in an insane asylum, a convent, or even burn her at the stake? No! They can't do any of those things because her brown-nose parents desperately want to use her injury to get a connection to the ducal house. They're not doing anything to her.
Honestly, I think this is the best time to stage a complete personality change, when it can be blamed on the trauma. And her parents will get used to it and just be glad she isn't moping around. That being said, I don't think the FL is some kind of tactical genius... she only noticed a problem I'd picked out immediately on the 6th chapter, I think it was. Still, I don't think she's making a mistake.
FL reads a story about a miserable woman who killed herself after being bullied by her mother in law, her husband impregnated her sister, and then she killed herself when people wouldn't just leave her alone when she'd finally found some happiness in reclusion with her son...and her takeaway was "I wish I was this woman so I could make the husband happy."
Unlike some other readers, I am glad the MC is looking forward to living a healthy life and hope she can do as much as she would like. I would be super happy and grateful if I spent my whole life ill and then died, but was graced with a sturdy body and all I received was a permanent scar.
I swear seing the first chapter the sister got pregnant with another man and lied or she raped the husband which is more likely since he would simply have had to tell his wife it wasn't his kid instead of waiting to tell the truth like he did. The sister needs to die and the parents are trash too, swear this is shit I'm tired of the SA misunderstood as adultery trope (and the false cheating trope too cause why aren't you at least trying to find out the truth with your partner first by confronting them) this shouldn't even exist ffs. Even with mc changing the story for the better (no SA lol yeahhh) it’s still sad cause ML didn’t even fall in love with her but the original girl unless they hit us with the "it was her in a previous life before her past life !!" trope too. If they try to give redemption to the sister I swear imma crash out
The "it was a previous life," excuse always annoys me. That's like equating it to a dream. And if this is the route you want to go, don't make it a time reversal, make it a prophetic dream. At least then the excuse is that it hasn't happened and won't happen in the future if changes are made. With time travel, it DID happen, it isn't just erased and forgiven because time reset.
It's not as bad as other commenters are saying, but it's a bit jarring.
This is maybe a first time that I have seen FL in this kinda situation who is fully just going with feeling, without actually planning anything.
We have had others that suffered from a sick life, but we're more meek despite enjoying their new healthy life - what makes sense, because this FL clearly was wealthy with good family before, so her attitude isn't poor commoner who had to suffer in hospital.
But that also makes us to disconnect from her because it's hard to understand person who has always been at "better" standing and didn't need to learn same behavior and humility than us.
FL is actually very realistic, but to us it feels silly and weird, because there is some common ground missing. Not just because she was severely ill, what is hard to understand if you haven't been that sick, but also because she was born in wealthier position, and behaves accordingly.
And also people seem to misunderstand that FL want to live Serenity's life for Leon, the son, not for the husband or others. (That might change later in the story or not.)
Personally, not my favorite, because I too have hard time connecting with the FL's character, so I'm reading only the free stuff - but that doesn't mean the FL is badly written or an idiot. She is fully aware about people trying to use her etc., but right now she is just enjoying the fact that she is in healthy body and that is her priority.
Ok... So... Everybody knew the sister has the biggest crush on the ML, the maids, the servants, the parents and now even the MC... And ok, she has malice, but... The parents are disgusting... They knew!!!! They force their daughters just for their greed...
I'm sure impregnating the sister will be a misunderstanding (he was probably drugged if it's like other stories), but why was he hanging out with the sister running up to marrying FL? That doesn't speak well of him.
And it is WILD that his mom wanted him to take a mistress, not for an heir or anything, but just to take to parties.
Actually, the sister should go… That way she can make Stephen’s household hate her and confirm there’s no way she’ll be welcomed into their family
MC is very dumb. Acting like that in front of strangers, and completely not thinking about how her actions could be perceived as "young lady lost her sanity after the accident".
